An estimate with the work spelled out.
A lockout, a rekey and new hardware are different jobs. Call 857-322-5478 with your location and the problem so the estimate conversation starts with the right scope.
The visit and the work
Ask whether there is a charge for the visit or assessment and how labor is priced. Explain whether you are currently locked out or planning work. Describe the existing condition honestly, including damage, previous repairs or more than one affected opening. An incomplete description can leave important work outside the initial discussion.
Parts, keys and programming
For a lock change, ask which hardware and how many keys are included. For rekeying, specify the cylinders or doors to be considered. For a vehicle, ask whether the estimate includes the key or fob and any required programming. Compatibility has to be checked for the installed lock or vehicle.
More than one door
A front entrance, rear door and private unit can have different locks and different owners or managers responsible for them. List the openings you want included. A general request to change the keys should not be assumed to include every door at a property.
If the assessment changes the plan
Ask why the original work is no longer suitable, what is proposed instead and what the revised price would be. Agree on the change before authorizing it. A different part, damaged hardware or door-fit problem can affect the scope.
Why there is no single price on this page
The required work depends on the opening, hardware, vehicle and request. This guide does not publish unverified starting prices or competitor prices as LockReach rates. Use the call to confirm the charges relevant to your situation.
